Olubunmi Abayomi OMOTESHO is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin with 41 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Sub-Dean, Head of Department, Chairman Library and Publications Committee, Dean of Agriculture, Dean of Student Affairs, Director of Academic Planning and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) he is the current Project Manager SDGs. His research interests span Agricultural Resource Economics and Food Security.
He has to his credit over 153 publications in reputable outlets spanning journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised 50 Masters dissertations, 30 MBAs, and 23 Ph.D. theses. He has consulted for the World Bank, Africa Development Bank, International Food and Policy Research Institute, and Federal and State Governments. He is a member of the N-Power Agro Steering Committee. He is also a member of the Agricultural Science Group of the EU/AU Tuning Africa Project. He was a member of the Visitation panel to Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo Ebonyi State. Professor Omotesho belongs to many professional associations locally and internationally. He is a Fellow of both the Nigerian Association of Evaluators and the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists.
