Akinsola Grace holds her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, with a specialization in Development Economics. She currently lectures in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She is a Research Associate at the ALL-IN project and Sugar Research Institute, University of Ilorin. She was a team member of the Tenth World Bank Implementation Support Mission and is currently on the team on Accelerating Genetic Gains, a project under the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture. She currently consults for USAID-funded projects in Nigeria. She has publications in internationally recognized intellectual outlets and conferences. She is a member of the Women in Higher Education Network, the African Growth and Development Impact Evaluation Network, and the African Association of Agricultural Economists, among others. She has co-founded many women farmers’ associations to educate them on agricultural innovations.
