Biography

Abdulazeez MUHAMMAD-LAWAL is a Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin with 21 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Deputy Director of the University of Ilorin Consultancy Services Centre, Ag. Head of Department, and Director of the Regional Centre of Expertise on Education for Sustainable Development. His research interests cover Production Economics, Farm Management, Food Security, and Rural Livelihoods. He has to his credit over seventy publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings, and chapters in books. He has successfully supervised 28 M.Sc. dissertations and 11 Ph.D. theses. He has equally won several research grants. Professor Muhammad-Lawal is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.
